Not sure what to say?

Yayoi was one of the most wonderful students a teacher could ever have. She was joyful and so incredibly creative! We stayed in touch over the years, and I miss her. My love to her husband and family. Yayoi will always be a treasure.

To Yayoi´s family and loved ones, Yayoi was such a wonderful person. I knew her when she was a student in my art classes and later when I went to an exhibit of hers, and then we reconnected on Facebook. She was not only memorable as an art student, but she had a force that touched people around her in a very positive way. Her beautiful smile brightened any situation, and I´m sure that smile will stay with you forever. I am very touched that she taught her students what I helped teach her:...

To Ted and Asoma Family, my sincere condolence. Loss can be very hard and difficult; hold on to the precious memories you've shared together that will always be sketched in your hearts and mind to help you cope day to day. Praying for healing and strength for you all.

To Ted and the Timbers and Asoma Families: My deepest condolences to you on the loss of Yayoi. She was such a beautiful person with a sweet, kind heart. I enjoyed every moment I spent with her all the times we saw each other. I will forever cherish the token of thanks and appreciation she sent to me. Rest in eternal peace Yayoi and to Ted, you were an amazing husband to her to the end. May you all take comfort in the memories you all had with such a precious soul.

You were a wonderful teacher at NYSSSA and it was touching to see you fighting for it until the end.

Rest In Peace, Yayoi-chan. You are a beautiful, gentle soul and I will always remember your sweet smile and voice. You were like a cousin to my sisters and I, and like another daughter to our mom, Fumiko. Happy memories of us growing up together will always live on in my heart. Sending love and hugs to the Asoma family. Love, Yuki
