Dear Carla,
My codolences to you, Daniel & his family.
Your mom always sent my family a holiday card at Christmas until she could no longer. I'll always remember both your mom and dad as long as I live.

That was a generation that the world is far the worse for losing. May you be comforted together with all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

The Bordens were the best of neighbors to us in West Newton. Yetta and Herb Borden were pillars of the Yiddish Club to which my mother belonged, a club that was formed by members and former members of Temple Shalom of Newton. Yetta was one of the last of her generation, but she will be remembered dearly by younger generations of friends as well as family.

What a special woman she must have been for you to be the special woman that you are. You and your family are in my prayers.
