Seven Years have passed and I still find myself wanting to share news and lots of giggles with my "second mom." But I am so happy to have followed her advice (most of the time) and the promise I made to her as she always said about Linda and me- " Remember to always take care of each other." And so it has been since September 1966 when Linda and I met as college Freshmen. Yola is now in heaven keeping a close eye on all of us who she loved. And I know that she and my Mom still are...

Yola was a second mother to me. Although I lost my Mom when I was 26, Yola was always a comfort to me. She always used to tell me: " Although we live far apart, you are always in my heart." Rest in Peace my Second Mom.
