What can I say? Nothing but love and fond memories of my "other mother"...will miss you more than you know! Thank you for everything, the enchiladas, the namesake (Dereck!) and for being such an important part of my life! Love you!

IT HAS BEEN SOME TIME SINCE I MET YOLANDA BUT AS ALWAYS, PHIL SPOKE THE
WORLD OF HER. I NEVER TRIED THE COOKING BUT THEY SAY PEOPLE WILL LOVE YOUR COOKING IF YOU LOVE TO COOK. JANE AND MY PRAYERS ARE WITH HER AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND THE FAMILY PHIL. MAYBE I CAN GET INTO FULLERTON AND SEE YOU SOON. I WAS AT PORTS O CALL WITH MY NIECE THIS MONTH AND I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER OUR EATING THERE.

I was a high school classmate of Phil's in Garden City, Kansas and never had the pleasure of meeting Yolanda. I know she was a wonderful person because of how Phil spoke of her. May God bless you with strenght during this sad family time.
Sincerely,
Phyllis Drussel Tillman

I will forever remember Yolanda everytime I make enchiladas. She taught my mom to make them and I learned from her. Her and Phil were a huge part of our childhood growing up on Rosanna Street. I will cherish all the wonderful memories and feel blessed to have her as a part of my life. Phil and kids treasure the memories and my heart aches for youall during this difficult time. We love yall!
