Yolanda "Mogavero" Hamlin

Dear Mr Hamlin: (as that is how I always knew you), we lived next door. I was only 7 when we moved in, I was terrified of your two dogs at first, Gus and Ceaser, but time cured that. I will always remember you painting and repairing that Tourquoise fence. You and Yolanda always had 100 tomatoe and pepper plants growing in the back yard. The two of you were so easy going and tolerated all of us "KIDS" in the neighborhood. We will deeply miss Yolanda but know she is in a better place now. ...

The memories of you will last me a lifetime. I remember the lunches with you and me-ma, Aunt Rosie, & Aunt Edith, I remember going to your home, I remember you asking me where i got Kailey's name from. There are so many to choose that I will never forget how much I love you and how much I will truly miss your spirit and your strength.

Although not surprised, I was so sad to hear of Yolanda's passing. I am so grateful that I was able to spend some time with her these last few months. She was the last of the Mogavero siblings.
