Not sure what to say?

I offer my sincere condolences to Yolanda's family and friends. I knew her when we both attended Our Lady of Guadalupe School. I moved away from Houston and lost touch until about 4 years when I visited her when I was in Houston visiting relatives. We talked about old friends and our days at school. I will remember her as someone very special. I was saddened to read about her passing but found it very appropriate that her great work in the community was recognized by the naming of a middle...

RIP, MY CONDOLENCES AND RESPECT, FROM A SECOND WARD RESIDENT...

My Condolences to the family , didn't have the pleasure to meet here in person, but knowing here son shows what a great woman she has been.

My condolences to the family and friends of Yolanda. Yolanda always greeted me with that beautiful smile that I now know was and is the smile of an angel that I had the honor to know. As a founding member of HACEMOS (a SWBell Hispanic employee group) it was my honor to direct a mentor program in support of AAMA one of many organizations and initiatives that will remind the community of a beautiful legacy Yolanda shared with Houston. God bless Yolanda and her family.

Yolanda, what a wonderful lady. I went to high school with her at Incarnate Word Academy, Class of 1964. We worked together last year at the IWA Red Check Day for the Graduating Seniors of
2014. She also attended the Alumnae Luncheon in Nov. 2014 to celebrate our 50th Graduation Anniversary. I did not realize she was ill. She was always ready to lend a hand to help a good cause. She accomplished a great deal in her life, always trying to help others. God Bless her and her Family. Love,...

My condolences to the family of Yolanda. I just now heard of her loss. I was proud to call Yolanda a friend and colleague as I knew her to be a great fighter for justice and the well-being of her community. She was an awesome civic leader and having been involved in many projects with her I never ceased admiring her dedication to our community.

In my last visit to my hometown, I drove by Villa Arcos to see her but it had just closed. How sorry I feel that I missed seeing her. May God...

My condolences for the loss of a wonderful and cheerful person. We now have another angel to watch over us.

Yolanda was a champion for our community. She established the "Shoes for Kids" drive and served as president of the Navigation Area Business Association (NABA). She was also a wonderful friend. We wish to extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to her family. She will be greatly missed.
