Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home Obituary

Our beloved mother, Yolanda S. Ramos, passed away peacefully on December 1st 2025 at the age of 60.

Yolanda was a hardworking, selfless woman whose strength and generosity touched everyone who knew her. She was admired not only for her dedication, but for the way she gave of herself without hesitation. If you needed help, she was there—no questions asked, no limits to her kindness.

Above all, she was a devoted mother who always found a way to make sure her four children never went without. Her love was steady, her sacrifices endless, and her presence a blessing in our lives. She loved her grandkids and would do anything for them. They were her world! She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, and unwavering love that we will carry with us always. Yolanda’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

If you knew Yolanda, you knew her heart. Her presence was always felt, and she will be deeply missed by so many. She wasn't just a mom, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, or friend; she was so much more. She had a special bond with her nieces, they all did so much with Yolanda that they all knew her love for them. This world was undoubtedly better with her in it.

She is survived by her four children; Rosie (Jermain) Gambrell, Trey (Rheana) Ellis, Evangilina Ellis, and Louis Ellis. Grandchildren Amayah Zuniga, Aliyah Zuniga, Adelina Zuniga, Trey Ellis Jr., Emry Ellis, Louis Ellis 5th (Quincy), Olivia Ellis. She is also survived by her mother Rosa Ramos. Her siblings Rudy Ramos, Eddie (Gloria) Ramos, Zoila (Johnny) Reyes, Carol Dominguez, Linda (Arturo) Baeza, Leonard (Lucy) Ramos, and Paula (Andy) Valdez. Preceded in death by her father Leonard Ramos, brother Fabian Ramos, and grandparents Leonardo Sr & Ruperta Ramos, and Pablo & Paubla Sanchez.

A service celebrating her life will be held at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin funeral home on Wednesday December 10th. Viewing will be from noon to 9pm with a rosary and prayer service at 7pm.

Not sure what to say?

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My condolences to the family. Yolanda had a beautiful heart.

Our hearts are with the Ramos family during this difficult time.

Yolanda’s legacy lives on through her siblings, children, grandchildren, and the many lives she brightened simply by being herself.

May she rest in peace, and may her family feel comfort in the warmth of the many hearts she touched.

With love and deepest sympathy,
Dominic and Lara Valdez
