My Three amigas Yolanda Reynolds, Mary Andrade and Kathy Napoli. I will always remember Yolanda as a brave woman with a passion for community involvement. As a journalist standing up to support her friends and fellow activist whose strong sense of justice was an essential story that she took a lead in reporting. I will miss not seeing you in the crowd at the many actions we were all involved in. May you rest in peace and be assured that you still stand with us in spirit.

My sisters know the family more because they were all the same age as Yolanda, Al, Modesto, Carlos, and Leonel. I will pray for the family and will light a...

The memories of my friendship with Yolanda keep coming to my mind. Her love for the City of San Jose motivated her desire to make a profound contribution. She gave her time and energy covering political and social issues affecting the life of the citizens. Yolanda was one of the first journalists to interview Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren in Washington, D.C. after she was elected. She traveled to different cities in the United States to attend and write about the conventions of the National...
