Not sure what to say?

Our sincerest condolences go to Scott, Paula, Mel, and Cindy, and all of her grandchildren. My husband, Wade, and I had the most wonderful time with Aunt Landa just a few weeks ago. We felt so fortunate to spend time with her since getting together is difficult. We reminisced about many wonderful memories. We laughed when she told us what she was supposed to be named - thank goodness she was named Landa! :-) And we'll miss the playful banter between she and Aunt Lois watching them sound like...

I am very sorry to hear of Landa's passing and my condolences go out to the entire family she was so proud of. All of us at Santa Paula Hospital miss Landa and her beautiful smile. She always made the room light up when she walked in. She was one of our favorite volunteers at the hospital.

I met your Mother when she was the secretary at Glen City School in Santa Paula many years ago. My son, Eric, was a student there. I appreciated her kindness when she called each time it was necessary. Mel, You will always be in my thoughts for your kind letter. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Scott and grandchildren at this time of your loss.

Yvonne, Rob, Lois Jean, Sara and Landa

My husband Jon and I, Landa's sister Lois Jean, were fortunate to have spent six days with her recently. One most memorable of those visits was at Yvonne's home to celebrate her grandson Rob and Sara Toney's recent marriage. Those memories are a comfort in our grief. Robs parents, Jim and Lornell Toney hosted a lovely event for us all. We are most grateful. Landa is surely...
