Unfortunately, I am just hearing about the passing of Ms. Dillon. She was my mentor @XUP. Ms. Dillon took me under her wing when I was in the 10th grade. I got involved in the Media Center w/Ms. Turner and I soared ever since. Ms. Dillon poured a little more love into me because she saw greatness in me. Dear Tony, Kim and Sylvia I am so sorry to hear of Yo's passing. We spent many a night on Campus Blvd.playing cards, your Daddy use to say about me that "I could hold a dollar until the eagle hollow" because I would not take any money when I baby sat with you so they could go out. She was always ready to help anyone of us if help was needed. Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in Heavenly Peace Yo. You will be missed and fondly remembered. To Tony Dillion and the family of Yolande Dillion, my deepest condolences and sympathy to you in your time of sorrow. I have been a neighbor and friend since 1958, when we moved into the home next to the Dillions. Many years have passed, since then and I still cherish our relationship. Much love to the family. My sincere condolences to the son and family of Mrs. Dillon. She was Miss Stanley when I knew her at E.H. Phillips School. I was in elementary grades then. I remember her as being a pretty lady, and very nice. May she rest in peace in God's loving arms.
