Dear Michiko, Ron, Kenta, and Yamada family,
I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Bob's passing, and for your sad loss. My dad held a very special place for Uncle Bob and even when they were very elderly and living on opposite sides of the country, I always felt that he looked up to him like an older brother. If Bob Yamada said something was a good idea, that was enough for pop! I know that his good nature and generosity will be very much missed.

I know that your good memories of his long life will be a comfort to you as time goes on.

Love and best wishes,

Kelly Kuwabara

My prayers are with you all today, may God's peace be with you.

I had the pleasure of working side by side with my father on the farm, and have many fond memories of the friends that I made while there. I have a grater understanding of what the Filipino's had to endure in the early 1900's, as well as the Japanese, because of my experience on the farm. I feel blessed to have been part of the team of workers that the Yamada Brothers treated like family.

May God--your higher power--continue to bless your family and friends as you continue your much appreciated work that feeds the world.
