I had the privilege of working with Dr. Kim as a nurse in the ICU at Blodgett in the early 1980s. He was an awesome cardiovascular surgeon and teacher. I remember his short pump times and excellent outcomes, but more importantly his deep concern for every patient he cared for. Rest in peace, Dr. Kim.

Grandpa gave me my good work ethic, a passion for health and fitness, and a desire to leave a positive legacy for this world. I have so many wonderful memories playing in the sun, rain, and snow at their home on the shores of Reeds Lake. As a grandchild, our memories of our grandparents are the best, as our elders are at their wisest and they've already done the "trial run" on their own kids ;) And yet, these memories are fleeting; we enter this world as they are leaving. I wish I could have...

Over the past year while visiting with my husband I had numerous opportunities to see the gentle and kind soul Dr Kim was. May the light of Christ shine upon you and give you pease.

my father-in-law was a great man. I will miss him dearly.

We extend our Christian sympathies to the family members of Dr. Youn S. Kim as we remember a gifted person who brought healing to many. May you all be comforted in your time of loss.

I am so sorry to hear of DR. Kims passing, he was a sweet soul, i had the pleasure of taking care of him the last two years. Ill always remember his singing and telling the ladies how beautiful we all were. He was a sweet person and i will miss him very much. My thoughts are with him and his family
