Youssef Farhat

The Farhat family are saddened to announce the passing of their beloved father and grandfather Youssef Farhat in his 89th year. Suddenly on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Victoria Hospital with family at his side joined by the families of Abourjelly, Yaccoub, Abi Khalil, Khoury, Hajjar, Ayach, Braks and Mfarrij. Loving husband of the late Shafika (Abourjelly) Farhat (2013). Cherished father of Asmahan Abikhalil (Rafic), Inaam Farhat, Naim Farhat (Judy), Jad Farhat (Nada), Ray Farhat (Dorothy), Rima Yaccoub (Elias) and Claude Farhat (Ronda). Much loved grandfather and great grandfather of many. Dear brother of Farhat Farhat (Janet), Genevieve Ayach and Victoria Hajjar (Khalil). Devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews in Canada and Lebanon. Predeceased by brother Michel and sister Jamal. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Sunday, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church (267 Adelaide St. South) on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., Msgr. Charles Saad officiating followed by entombment in the Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Monday at 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church.
