In memory & honor of Sgt Youvert Loney. Always remembered.
March 24, 2013
My son came home from Afghanistan and will be out of the army for good in September. He served with "Loney" and was there when their trucks were attacked. I will forever and ever remember waiting to hear he was ok. I will forever and ever remember being told that Loney did not make it... My heart hurts when I think of that day. My heart will forever hurt for the family of not only Loney but all the men and women that did not make it home.
You are thought of often Sgt Youvert Loney,...

I served with Loney in afghanistan and I have to say he was one of the greatest men I have ever or ever will meet. Though he died making the world a better place, to me it seems bleaker without him. The hardest thing I've ever done was taking his body off the plane in Bagram to be sent home finally. My life will forever be changed because of you Sgt. Loney. See you on the other side.

On this day and with each day that we enjoy our freedom, I would like to give thanks and let you know that I do not take our troops for granted. May you experience God when you feel your loss.
