Read MoreWe lived next door to Mr. and Mrs. Macksoud when Joseph and Eddie were toddlers. They were excellent neighbors. My dad grew a garden and shared fresh vegetables with them, and Mrs. Macksoud introduced us to delicious mideastern cuisine. Tabouleh is still among my favorite dishes.
