Yvette Marie Poe

The Poe's lived across the street from us in Covina. Greg was a couple of years older than me (I think it was the pre-teen years), and he was my best friend, ever. Of course, this meant that I knew his mom, and what a wonderful person she was. Strong, confident, always there. I knew that if I ever got into any trouble, or needed anything, that Greg's mom would be there for me if my parents were not. I've got a million great memories.....

The Poe's lived across the street from us in the mid-1970's (I was around 10 at the time). I always knew that if I ever needed anything, and my parents were not around, that I could absolutely rely on Mrs. Poe. Her son Greg is a couple of years older than me, and I always thought of him as my older brother.
