Yvonne Buckner was born March 13, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Charles W. Buckner and Rosie Lee Wren.

Yvonne attended Superior School, Kirk Jr. High, and Shaw High School. She was married to Shelly Young for a brief period of time and would later divorce. Although Yvonne never held a job she was a high functioning individual who in her early adult years took care of her own business. She was very private and those who knew her, knew she was a person of very few words. Some of her favorite words or phrases were: no, yep, nothing, I don't know, or for real, how are you doing or I'lI call you back. She could be comical at times and could use some choice words if need be. Her conversations and actions often brought humor and laughter to the individuals engaging and interacting with her.

As a youngster, Yvonne attended Glenville Seventh Day Adventist Church, but would later as an adult become a member at Starlight Baptist Church. Yvonne was a watcher of the soap operas, The Young and the Restless and The Bold and Beautiful as well as a huge sports fan.

Yvonne could tell you the day to day information on the soaps and would converse with others about the details of them. She loved watching football and wrestling and wearing sports wear. She also loved Smokey Robinson, who was one of her famous entertainers.

Yvonne loved calling family members on the phone. She was close to her sister Patricia and conversed frequently with her brother Charles and Carolyn for rides to the store, bank or fast food restaurants. She occasionally would speak with her other two out of town siblings Pamela and Anthony whenever they could catch her on the phone.

Yvonne reunited with her two children Antonio and Adina after years of losing contact with them. This reunion brought joy and happiness to her. She also kept in contact and talked occasionally over the phone with her eldest daughter Alisha.

Do to medical reasons, Yvonne would eventually need the assistance of others to help assist her with daily activities and living arrangements. She
resided at a group home where she was the first client at that home. Although she said very little her group home manager loved conversing with her about the soap operas and assisting her with other tasks.

On November 30, 2022 she departed this life at the age of 63. She leaves to mourn her passing (3) children, Alisha Buckner from Cleveland, Ohio, Antonio Maxwell from Salem, Ohio, and Adina Maxwell from Hanoverton, Ohio; two brothers Charles Buckner Jr., Cleveland, Ohio; Anthony C. Buckner (Charmain), Huntsville, Alabama, three sisters, Patricia A. Mattison, Cleveland, Ohio; Pamela R.
