Vonnie along with her husband Keith were indeed the best friends one couid ask for .. We moved to Fort St John BC in 1974 as the newcomers on the block so to speak and we were welcomed with open arms by them both and from there grew a great friendship despite the age difference . Vonnie was indeed an incredible strong talented lady who could put her hand to anything , with a great eye for interior design in the many houses they called home ..We enjoyed travel with them both and fond memories...

So very sorry for your loss. My memories of your mom (grandmother, great-grandmother) are of a woman who inspired excellence, took no BS, worked hard, who was a friend (to my mom) and obviously loved her family. I am sure she will be missed and I hope you find comfort in sharing with each other all the precious memories you have of her.

Your mother was a delight to know in every way. One fond memory is of us brushing up our French in a night school course together. Followed by a dinner party where we could speak nothing but French! Your parents left a wonderful legacy in their charming, caring family. Even though Yvonne chose MAID, and had all of your comfort, loss is hard. Our deepest condolences.
