REED & BENOIT FUNERAL HOME INC Obituary


The funeral service for Yvonne A. Hunter will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 30th at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown.  Calling hours will be from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Monday April 29th at the funeral home. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Natural Bridge Fire Hall following the funeral service on Tuesday.


Yvonne passed away at her residence on Wednesday, April 24th. She was 69 years old. 


 Born in Watertown, NY on September 17, 1949, daughter to Robert L. and Madeline Doolittle Buckley. Yvonne worked for several years at Lofink’s in Carthage, NY.  She was a member of the Natural Bridge Ladies Auxiliary.  


Yvonne enjoyed camping, planting flower beds, pottery but her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.  


She is survived by her children, Lisa (Hank Dye) Hunter, Ohio; Lori (David Lillie) Bova, Adams; Jeffrey (Michelle Jones) Hunter, Wesley Island; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Terry (Sharon) Buckley, Adams; Michael (Terry) Buckley, Rutland; Kevin Buckley, Carthage and Patricia (Roy) Morgan, Carthage. 


Besides her parents Yvonne is predeceased by her best friend of 30 plus years, Nancy Mead. 


Memorial donations may be made to the Natural Bridge Ladies Auxiliary, 27570 High St., Natural Bridge, NY 13665.
