Yvonne Keller Gayle Yvonne (Dayton) Keller, 59, of Fairmont passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born in Marion County on August 12, 1952, daughter of the late Francis Adrian Keller and Pearl Irene (Charkandy) Keller Cole. Yvonne was retired from the State of WV DHHR with over 30 years of service working in the nursing home program office of the health facility licensure and certification department. She had also worked part-time at H&R Block, Fairmont Jobs Service and most recently at John Manchin Sr. Health Care. She was a 1970 graduate of East Fairmont High School and an alumnus of the Busy Bee Band. She received a Nursing Degree from Fairmont State University in 1995 and a B.A. Degree in 1997. She was also working towards her Master's Degree at West Virginia University before her illness. Yvonne was very active in her church, she was a charter member of Everlasting Covenant Church and had been a member of Trinity Assembly of God. She enjoyed helping the youth in the church and served in several ministries and she also enjoyed volunteering her time to the Soup Opera. She is survived by two sons, David Dayton and his wife Sharon of Fairmont and Gary Dayton of Fairmont, her daughter, Dena Dayton of Fairmont, five grandchildren, Tristan Tenney, Katelynn Tenney, Cory Tenney, David Issac Dayton and Hannah Dayton, her brother, Larry Gene Keller of Fairmont as well as many good and dear friends. Family and friends may call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont on Tuesday from 1-9 pm and on Wednesday from 10-11 am. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 11 am with Pastor Ray Crabtree and Pastor Roy Weese officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.carpenterandford.com
