Yvonne "Miss Diva" was truly an original. She had a huge heart, a wonderful smile, a unique sense of humor and a tremendous talent. She brought much joy to everyone. Kansas City has been blessed to have enjoyed the gift of her voice for many years. I will miss her.

I had only met her once, in the accompaniment of her husband Miles Perry, whom I have known since childhood. Prayers to be surrounded to the family and all involved.
