Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory - Ballwin Obituary

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Yvonne Mary Robertson on October 16, 2025, at the age of 87.

Born on August 23, 1938, in Plattsburgh, New York, Yvonne brought warmth and wit into the lives of all who knew her. She was the beloved wife of the late Larry Robertson until his passing in 2012.

Yvonne is survived by her loving children John Robertson, Lisa Robertson, Heather Robertson and Holly Kitzelman (Lance); her cherished grandchildren Kaycee Frickey (Colin), Caleb Kitzelman, Grace Kitzelman; her two great-grandsons, Blaise and Beau Frickey, sister Rhea Linkous (Tom), brother Denis Soucy (Peggy), and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father Victor Soucy (1982), mother Roseann Soucy (2012), brother Victor Soucy (1986) and brother Rodney Soucy (2025)

A gifted singer, Yvonne's voice graced her high school choir and later the harmonies of the Sweet Adeline’s. Primarily a dedicated homemaker, she also contributed her skills preparing taxes for H & R Block. In the early 90’s Larry and Yvonne moved to Huntington Beach, California where Yvonne got involved in the Huntington Beach Newcomers group. She participated in charitable events and organizations including the Huntington Harbor Holiday boat parade and the Orange County Philharmonic Society. Yvonne moved back to St. Louis in 2013 where she got involved in her community Newcomers group and volunteered for the Assistance League of St. Louis. Yvonne was also a woman of quiet faith.

Yvonne was known for her sense of humor, her love of golf and bridge, and her unwavering dedication to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and love that will continue to inspire all who were lucky enough to know her.

Yvonne was deeply loved and will be immensely missed.
