Not sure what to say?

Tex came into my life almost magically at at time when I was pretty isolated and fearful. She and Max welcomed me into their home and hearts in a way that was transformational. I will always remember the amazement of the gatherings of women at their house and how they made space for us all. What a gift of live and love to this world!!!

Thank you Tex! Thank you Max!

There are few people in your life that give love unselfishly and never waver in their support for you. Aunt Yvonne, you were truly a positive influence in my life from my earliest memories in Alabama until your passing. I will always love and miss you.

Tex,
28 years ago you befriended and rescued a scrawny kid who turned up at Logan Printing for a few months of temp work on her way to graduate school. With your tremendous heart and strong presence, you guided and protected me there and then welcomed me home to meet dear, sweet Maxine and your friends -- at a time in my life that I really needed friends and community. I will always remember your generosity of spirit and lively way of being in the world, and give thanks to you and Max...

Great Aunt Yvonne,

With the years that have past and the distance, I am so happy that I was able to spend some time with you and Maxine in the last couple of months. I enjoyed visiting your new home, drinks and chatting with both of you. Thank you so very much for the Salsa, it is almost gone and I would like to savor every last bite (it is delicious). We will miss you so very much and you will always be remembered in my heart. May Peace be with you and Gods strength be with...

I'm glad that I had the chance to show you how much I loved you while you were here. You brightened my life so much and I will miss you always.

Love Forever,
Janeen (niece)

Your bright burning candle has gone out here on earth, but now there is a brightly shinning star in the Heavens. I am comforted knowing that Mom has her Little Sister in Heaven with her now. I made Mom a promise that I would see her again someday. So until then...it won't be goodbye...it will be "See Ya'll Later". Love You, Tootsie

Tex has been a friend of mine for many years. I have so many memories of spending time with her and Max at their house on the lake. Playing cards, fishing, and parties. Tex sure knew how to cook and you never left hungry. My favorite memories are of her "coons". Miss Coonie and her babies always knew where and when to find an easy meal. I love you Tex thanks for the all the good times and friendship.
