Zak has been a good friend for over forty years and he will be missed by many who found him to be able to light up a room with his warm smile. he was quick witted, very funny and a genuine human being. I just learned of his passing and last spoke with him earlier this year. RIP my brother from another family. sending much love. Rick

Zak was such a blessing to my husband and his family - I just feel lucky to have "married in," and had the opportunity to know Zak. He lived life on the right path. His outlook and optimism will be dearly missed. We love you, Zak!

I am truly blessed to have been able to call Zak my friend of 17 years. We met at GW my freshman year and he had a great impact on my life as he did with so many other students. He was one of the most kind-hearted, caring, thoughtful and generous souls I have ever known.
