Not sure what to say?

This man saved my life in 1979. I have him to thank for an emergency middle of the night surgery that has allowed me to write this, now in my early 70s. I have thought of him & the gift he gave me many times over the years.

Dr Newton eas a forward thinker who thought outside the box. As a former patient of his, I wish I had listened better to his wisdom and followed his instructions better. My life would have been better. May he Rest in Peace.

Dr Newton saved my and my baby´s life on May 1, 1980. He and his wife Barbara gave me excellent care and saw me through a tough first pregnancy that included pre-eclampsia and toxemia. He truly performed a miracle and saved both of us. The world lost a miracle worker. I pray for his family.

Ms. Newton I am just finding out about Dr. Newton. He became my doctor when I first move to Atlanta in 1971. I needed a GYN in a bad way and even though he was booked solid, he told me to come in that day so that he could check me. I considered him the best. I had some problems that other doctors did not discover but he found them and fixed them. He was alway patient, caring and great. I remember his having the practice by him self and I am still with the practice that he started. I...

Dear BJ, Bill and I are so sad to hear of your loss. Bill shares a wealth of memories growing up in Mount Airy, years at Germantown Academy, mutual friends, keeping Zach company while manning ERs in local hospitals as young adults. My favorite memory is the sail boat ride with my children the summer of '67 during Bill's assignment in North Carolina. The children thought it was the "best day of their lives" -- age 6 and 8! Sorry distance limited visits in later years; but we'll always...

I was saddened to learn of Dr. Newton's passing when I went in to PWC today for my annual exam. Dr. Newton was my OB-GYN from the mid-80s until he retired. He was such a caring and kind person. We always talked about our travels and he would always recommend new adventures. I will not ever forget him and the many kind and encouraging words that he always so willingly shared.

May God continue to comfort and bless the entire Newton family. Dr. Newton left a great legacy. May...

Ms. Newton,

Mama (Pauline) and I send our deepest sympathies. He was a wonderful doctor to me and best employer of mama's. He got the greatest kick out of me for saying "mama". He was the best. You know the family loves you and you guys were always in our hearts.
