Not sure what to say?

Zack was a dear friend when I taught at Escambia. He always made me laugh. Was very supportive when I went through some tough times. A one-in-a-million guy. My deepest sympathy.

Gone Fishing
I've finished life chores assigned to me,
So put me on a boat headed out to sea.
Please send along my fishing poles,
For I've been invited to the fishin hole.
Where everyday is a day to fish,
To fill your heart with every wish.
Don't worry or feel sad for me,
I'm fishing with the Master of the Sea.
We will miss each other for awhile,
But you will come and bring your smile.
It won't be long you will see,
Till we're all...

I was privileged to teach with Zack for many years at Escambia High. Those were the golden years of teaching, and Zack made them glow all the more brightly. Who could forget his booming laugh or his glorious fish fries? Many thanks, Zack, for giving us the gift of your presence. Also, thank you for creating the galleries and festivals that have made Pensacola the lovely place it is.
My condolences to Ann and Kelly and all the family. May you and precious Zack rest in the arms of the lord.

I am so sorry to have just found out of Zacks passing. I taught with Zack for many years @ Escambia High School, sharing our teaching experiences, socializing together at his many fish fries & enjoyinging a special friendship with each other. I hold him dear to my heart and many happy memories in our long time of teaching. My heartfelt thoughts & prayers go out to Anne , Kelly And his entire family. Love in Christ, Betty Jernagan Commins

My condolences to family. Kelly, Zack was a father figure to me from age 16 to 21, more than you will ever know. I'm proud to have worked at The Frame Game. I believe I grew up there. I will miss him. I realized since I missed this gathering, it was the only opportunity to meet your family, see Zack's sisters , Zack's wife and others. I'm sorry I wasn't there. Steve-O

I'm so sorry to hear that Zack has passed. I started my art teaching career at Escambia while he & Bob Green were there. The Photography Lab & classes were born during this time. The last time I saw Zack & Ann was at Petrella's. Praying for comfort, peace, and strength for the family.

Zack, thank you for the memories. To your family and many friends our family extends our heartfelt sympathy.
Your years as a former neighbor, fellow artist, fishing buddy, and true friend to our children and family will always be in our hearts. We cherish our great times together. May you rest in peace.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

It has been fifty years since I was in Mr Baisdens art class at Escambia but I can still remember it well. Working with clay, pen and ink, watercolor and such. I learned so much from him which I have not forgotten. He was such a good teacher and kind person. I am sad to learn of his passing. My most heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.
