Zachary "Zach" Todd Morgan, 27, of Decatur passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015.
A service to celebrate and honor his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Memorials can be made to The Salvation Army.
Zach was born on May 17, 1988 in Decatur, IL the son of Darrin Morgan. He graduated from St. Edward's High School in Lakewood, Ohio in 2006 where he was on the wrestling team. He was employed by his grandfather but most recently was working for Olive Garden. He enjoyed playing guitar and listening to music in his spare time but most of all Chloe and Geddy were most important to him.
Surviving are his children: Chloe and Geddy Morgan of Decatur, IL; father: Darrin Morgan of Manila, Phillipines; paternal grandparents: Ed and Arlene Morgan of Elwin, IL; maternal grandparents: Ken and Diana Brooks of Florida; great grandmother: Lorna Wright of Decatur, IL; former wife: Sara of Decatur, IL; uncle: Jeff Morgan and his wife Mindy of Mt. Zion, IL; cousins: Mitchell, Jacob and Madison Morgan of Mt. Zion, IL; four special cousins: Nicole, Heather, Bridgett and Missy; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
