Not sure what to say?

Zack was a talented guy, natural musician, who brought a lot of joy to those who had an opportunity to see him and his band going back to the early-mid 1990s. I won't - and don't -forget those times.

I have plenty of memories about you. I remember enjoying the days at Western Michigan University where you would come with your band, Black Water Station, to put on some amazing shows. Those were some of my most memorable and enjoyable days of college. You were terrific. You also learned to become a very good guitar player. I just heard about your passing today. Quite a shock. Best wishes to all of your friends and family. Joe Howitt

Our hearts go out to June and Jim and the whole family at this tragic time. Our hope is that solace and comfort come your way and soon.

- Marion and Carl Muma

Zack, I cannot believe it...it seems like not so long ago we used to play in your backyard by the river and play with swords and shields around your driveway as kids. I remember randomly stopping by to see you, Bethany, Mike, Aunt, June and Jim a few years ago when I was in MI and everyone was so nice. You were a great guy and will really be missed, I am very sorry I was in Peru and missed your funeral! I loved you and wish we could have hung out and skied a few runs in Colorado this...

MIssing him oh so much...precious beyond belief. All our love, Carolyn, Christopher and Michael. Mathieson Cousins so fortunate to have known and loved Zack...so fortunate.

Our deepest condolences! The entire Rosenberg Family

I went to school with Zack for many years, and while I didn't know him well I know that everyone thought only the best of him. He was kind and smart, and I'm sure he was a wonderful man. My condolences to all of his loved ones.

My deepest sympathies go out to Zach's family and friends. I remember Zach as a child and am so very sad. Prayers and thoughts are with you and I hope that you find comfort in the love that so many people had for Zach.

Zach, it was good knowing you. My sincere condolences to your loved ones.
