ZACHARY HAMILTON ZUBER

I was in Mr Zuber French class in the year 1989 or around 1990, I don´t recall. He will be missed. Sad that I just saw this now. I miss all those great teachers at Roosevelt Jr High.

I worked with Zach at Roosevelt Junior High. He was a lovely, gentle man. A willing listener, positive and creative. He loved teaching and he loved teaching French. We enjoyed many lunches together. I am so sorry I heard about his death a decade after the fact. His is a pleasant memory of my time at Roosevelt Junior High.

Zach Zuber was one of those names I could never forget after all these years. He was one of my teachers at Roosevelt Jr High School 1991.

Mr. Zuber was my teacher at Taft Jr High in San Diego. A good teacher, with bright eyes, a quick wit and good heart. I'm sure he touched many in his life and we all carry the best of him with us. Thanks Mr. Zuber.

Rest in Peace Mr.Zuber.

Zach and Leah were my second cousins. We grew up together celebrating birthdays and playing outdoors. I last visited with Zach at the class reunion of LHS 54. E-mails were traded and he sent family photos that he was organizing. I am sorry that I did not see him in his latter years. He was always such a gentleman.

Zach was always smiling. He was a nice man. Rest in Peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

I knew Zach in many different musical contexts over the years, most recently in the choir at All Saints. He was a very kind and unassuming person whom it was always a pleasure to meet. I used to enjoy stopping for a chat with him at Whole Foods. He will be missed.
