Hi Pat...sorry to hear about Zane. As you know, Zane and I were elementary and senior high school best of friends...we hung out together. I spent a lot of time with Zane and his family. But of course, but when he married you (a wonderful choice) I spent hours with the two of you growing up. Have a good life Pat.....you deserve it! ! Love always......Harry & Shari Schindele

Dear Pat and Family,
Please except my sincere condolences and deepest sympathies. When I became superintendent, he was one of my role models. One cared deeply about his students and staff. He was not always politically correct, but he said what he believed. The Genesee County educational community benefited greatly from the contributions of Zane Stein.

So very sorry to hear of Mr. Stein's passing. I was Mr. Stein's secretary at Monroe Public Schools when he was Director of Vocational Education. It was a pleasure to serve him in that capacity.

Dear Pat and family....Please accept our most sincere condolences on Zane's passing! We are sorry to miss the service but please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers! It was an honor to have worked for Zane. He was a great leader!

Both of us extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Zane Stein. He was an outstanding superintendent of Carman-Ainsworth for many years. Richard and Arlene Ruhala
