Not sure what to say?

Zane left an impression on so many lives as a gracious and beautiful lady. Thinking of her brings happy thoughts of someone who always seemed to enjoy life and the people she met along the way.
May the happy memories of the wonderful family she created and loved help take you through this sad time.
Thinking of you with Love,
Mike and Barbara Morton

There are two "best" memories I have of Zane. When my then-fiance finally decided to set a date, it was for four days away. I hurriedly asked Vicki if she could line up her dad to marry us; he agreed and then we had to find a place. Vicki called back - Zane had offered her house. When I arrived I was flabbergasted - she had decorated, put out flowers, prepared food, and had champagne, complete with silver goblets for bride and groom. Vicki stood up for me, the judge married us, and Zane not...

Rick and Family:
I have many fond memories of growing up (at least I was trying to) around your mom. I remember her running us out of the kitchen a lot when we were young; but she seemed to enjoy hanging out with us as we grew up (I guess we made good martini's). Her sense of humor and her positive attitude is what I will remember most about Zane. Fond memories will always be with us.

Linda my pal... I have such great meomories of growing up in your home. What would I have ever done without you and your family?
Zane, Thanks for always leaving the back door unlocked for me when I was a kid and for always knowing how to get rid of me by offering me black eyed peas for dinner. You were a classy and funny lady. I will miss you. Vickie, Ricky, Linda, Nancy and Jimmy, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Shelly

Linda and family,
We are so sorry to hear of your great loss.We both know the feelings you are having but be happy in the knowledge that Mom is in a place where there is no disease or pain. Love you

Zane was such a beautiful lady and was the best mother to her brood.
Her hospitality was unmatched anywhere. To her wonderful children please accept my condolences..

When I first moved to San Diego as a child, I thought that Richard and Zane Vaughn epitomized the beauty and glamour of a couple in an F. Scott Fitzgerald novel: cocktail parties with women perched on counters, their shapely legs swinging,
keeping time and fusing with the
laughter and snappy repartee, the clinking of ice, and the haze of cigarette smoke. My feelings towards Zane deepend over the years as I came to appreciate her humor, zest for life, hospitality, and then the grace...

Dear Vicki & family,

Although your mother will live on in your hearts, it is still a heartbreak to lose them from our lives. May you find joy and comfort in your happy memories.
Best,
Denise

Courage is fear that has said its prayers.

When you have come to the edge of all the light you know and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things will happen. There will be something solid to stand on or you will be taught...
