Zebulon Weaver

He was a special guy in our undergraduate and medical school class. Though I only saw him a couple of times since graduation, I remember him fondly...

I grew up across the street from Zeb's parents. Listening to the wonderful bluegrass music emanating from the big old fashioned front porch, I was mesmerized, and fantasized about being a part of such a wonderful, talented, and diligent family. Now I'm playing bassfiddle in a band in Durham, and I have thought about Zeb so often as being such an influence on me, but I'm pretty sure he didn't pay me much mind! I hope the music has been handed down to the generations of Weavers that follow --...

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Dr. Weaver was my mothers doctor he was wonderful to her as well as my whole family.

Dr. Weaver was such a kind person. He treated my father, Clarence Bratton, with the utmost respect for many years. Dr. Weaver always thought of others first. May God keep and bless you.

So sorry to hear ofDr Weaver's passing. He was a kind man and a loyal friend to my husband for more than 30 years. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I was so sorry to hear of Zeb's passing. We were classmates in both undergraduate and medical school at UNC. He always was an impressive fellow as evidenced by the Obit writeup. He will be greatly missed by multitudes of friends and patients...

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Weaver's passing. He was my doctor for several years and a very compassionate man.

I am so sad to learn of Uncle Zeb's passing. I sure will miss knowing you are there. My prayers are with all the family.

I was sad to read of the passing of Dr. Weaver. We were on the track team together at David Millard Jr. High,and attended the same church, and even back then, the teachers and his friends knew he was destined for greatness and service to his fellow man.
