Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Gilmore was passionate about teaching and brought great talent to the classroom. Over the past four decades, I have often recalled her humor, kindness and attention. I have cited her example to my law clerks over the years.

I was in Mrs. Gilmores class and loved her. Never did she have to raise her voice.

Mrs. Gilmore was not only my favorite teacher, but also a friend. She had a gift of making every student feel like her favorite. I still remember reading Hawaii out loud, each student taking his or her turn. I remember Halloween and her room being completely darkened as she read spooky stories to us. I took every class I could from her. I loved her! Pam (Green) Nelson

Mrs. Gilmore was a wonderful teacher and she made a positive impact on my high school years.

Those of us who were fortunate enough to have Mrs. Gilmore as a teacher will always remember her as the best teacher ever. She was kind and considerate to us all and made learning a joy. I have thought of her often through the years. She was truly a wonderful person.

Mrs. Gilmore was the most thoughtful and open teacher I ever had. A truly wonderful person. She always opened her class room to all students at lunch time so we had somewhere to go. She visited with everyone. She will be missed.

I was in the class of 71 and ZZ was my favorite teacher.
Very good memories

I am so sad to hear of ZZ's passing. She was truly a treasure and a treat to know. I miss the days when I lived in Pocatello and was able to take her to Wednesday quilt nights. She was such an inspiration for all the quilters who met her. She will be truly missed.

Almost 40 years since Poky high and she is still in my thoughts as the best teacher/person I've ever known.

My condolences.
