Not sure what to say?

Mrs.Rifkin holding Alex at my sister Jan's house, my cousin Robin was there too.

Zelma Rifkin will always be an inspiration to those people whose lives crossed her life's path. Her genuine compassion and gift of teaching had such a positive and comforting impact on so many of us and our children.

Zelma taught my daughter, Angela Thayer, in 4th Grade at Vandercook Lake in 1976. When we moved to East Liverpool, Ohio for a two year work assisgnment, Zelma took Angie and her sister, Michele, out for lunch and a trip to the toy store. She not only treated these...

Mrs. Rifkin has always been very special! I did my student teaching with her years and years ago, and we have kept in contact through all these years. She will be greatly missed!!

I very much enjoyed taking care of Zelma. She always had a interesting story to tell. Zelma was very lucky to have Esther and Dean who took such good care of her. She will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I remember Mrs. Rifkin as a very happy and kind teacher. All four of my brothers had her as a teacher back in the 50's and they spoke very highly of her.

I will always fondly remember Ms. Rifkin from attending Townsend Elementary. She has held a special place in my heart for a long time. Such a loving, caring teacher. May God be with you!
