I worked at Al Piemonte Ford for many years and enjoyed many delicious lunches and dinners at Slicker Sams The food was always fantastic, but the best part of Slicker Sams was Sam and Zina themselves. God never made better people than Sam and Zina. They will be greatly missed by all who were blessed the honor of knowing them.

So sorry to hear of Mrs Rosa's passing. My wife and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Slickers in 1994. We had been regular patrons before and since that dinner. I went there as a child and when my children were small. Always had a great time there mainly because of the staff and definately from Rosa and Sam. They always made us feel welcome and special. I'm very sorry to hear about your mother's passing. My wife and I got engaged at Slicker Sam's so it will always have a special place in our hearts. You should consider opening a new restaurant. That would keep your mother's recipes alive for future generations.

I am so sorry to hear the sad news that your mom passed away. Dear Joe: I was so sorry to learn about your mom. I can't begin to tell you how bad I felt that I was not able to make the services. I will miss her and especially miss seeing her on Feast Sunday. It will not be the same without her there. She was quite the lady. My love to you all, Mary Ellen

She was such a wonderful and generous woman. She was so gracious to my friends and me during our collegiate and med school years. I certainly never forgot that.
