Zeyphene Loy McMACKIN

What a wonderful gift I received the day I met Zeyphene over fifteen years ago. I am so grateful to have known and loved her as a true friend. She always made me smile, checked up on me to see if I was okay, watched out for me and genuinely wanted the best for me. We shared many good memories and fun times together ... whether it was sitting at her house playing with Peanut or Bella, driving to Neiman's to get a mini makeover, getting our hair done, going to the Farmer's Market, or a fast...

My only sister, Zeyphene, whom I nick named "My Zeyphene" was 7 1/2 years my senior and she became my second Mother. Zeyphene took on the responsibility of me and our brother, Aubrey, Jr., whom we called "Sonny". I was 6, Sonny was 4 and Zeyphene was 14 when our Father suddenly died of heart failure. Zeyphene began working after school and she was always there for Sonny and me. My children adored their Aunt Zeyphene and continued to visit her regularly. We've lived in Houston since 1973....

I'm so sorry for your loss I I first met Zeyphene when her and Elda would bring Peanut to the Vet clinic. 2 very beautiful and sweet ladies.
