RAY, Zola M. (Grover) - Of Flint, age 71, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009 at University Hospitals in Ann Arbor. Funeral service will be held at 2PM Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Darrell Bailey officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Visitation 6-8PM Tuesday and 12Noon Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Zola was born in Buchannan County, Virginia on August 24, 1937. She leaves her loving husband, Carlan Joe Ray and 4 children, Donald and Tammy Grover of Flint, Daniel and Michelle of Mt. Morris, Loretta Husted of Burton and Mary Phetsouphen of Traverse City; 2 step-children, Lora Ray of Burton and Darrin Ray of Flint; sister, Zelma St. Clair of Tazewell, Virginia; 3 brothers, Joe Ramey of Tazewell, Virginia, Junior Ramey of Grafton, Ohio and Bud Ramey of Creston, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Samantha, Megan, Tommy and Nicole Grover, Ryan Husted, Mike Jones, Sara Meow, Ryan and Elizabeth Phetsouphen, Orlan Ray, Ashton and Cole Kelly.
