Not sure what to say?

Robbie, Danny & David:
I was sad to see your Mom's name in the Point Loma High School Pointers Monthly Memo via e-mail.
I had not seen your Mother since the early 1980's but I grew up knowing your Mother and her three sons when you were babies.
My parents were Aunt Hazel and Uncle Joe (on Rodney Kunz side).
My parents are now deceased and there are family photo's of your Mom and Dad. Robbie, as a baby you came to our home in Point Loma every Sunday.
Your Mom was so...

Dear Robbie, Danny & David,

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Zola's passing. It had been around 30 years since I last spoke with her, but last Sept. I had the nicest conversation with her. I always enjoyed your Mom's humor and outlook on life. She will be watching over you all from above.

Love,
Aunt Liane

Z
Your smile, your humor, your appetite for life and great food, your crafty ideas, your quick wit and your wonderful friendship are greatly missed. Always remember the wonderful lunch afternoons that you, Di, Ellen and I always make the most of. Thank you for being you and showing me how to make the perfect hamburger and of course, the ultimate hot dog. Blowing a kiss your way -

Ron J. Davis

Dear Zola, we were so fortunate to have worked beside you at Union Bank. Wish it had been longer! Thank you for sharing your many talents with us -your advanced pc skills & insistence not only on accuracy but also beauty on the finished page; your enjoyment at learning new words; your wonderful recipes - I'll always treasure that collection you put together for us; and your love of life! I was so looking forward to seeing you again in Del Mar! Thank you for enriching our lives, Dear Lovely...

With fond memories of Azure Vista, PLHS and our recent visit last November. My deepest sympathy to all of Zola's family.

Much love to the family - we will miss Zola but also will never forget her. Zola - You were truly one of a kind - the best kind.

Carol Moore, PLHS Class of '57

Sah-Sah,
Dearest Sweet Friend.
Confidant and Mentor.
What wonderful laughs and memories.
Safe passage honey, and don't insist on figuring out the tip.
I love you.
Love, Sah

My condolences to Zola's family. I remember her as that tall thin knockout older woman (she had me by two months)as we dated a couple of times in school. Then it was a pure joy to experience her effervescence at reunions. Thanks Zola.

I knew Zola many years ago. We were neighbors when she lived in Point Loma and her boys and my 2 sons used to play together.
I was saddened to hear of her passing and I regret not keeping in touch with her because she was a fine lady.
My sympathies go out to all of her family.
