Zu Zhuang Shen Obituary
At 93 years of age, Zu Zhuang Shen passed away peacefully at the Ouellette Campus of the Windsor Regional Hospital on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Beloved father of Peter Xia and dear grandfather to Shirley and Eddie Xia. He is also survived by two younger sisters in China. Born in Fujian Province in China, he arrived in Windsor in 1986 as a retired professor from Wuhan University. Prof. Shen lived an extraordinary life of struggle and accomplishment in China and especially loved his new life in Canada – often using the name, Julius, with his English-speaking friends. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A Celebration of Zu Zhuang Shen's life will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519) 254-3223 on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
