William Albrecht Obituary
Beloved husband of Barbara E. Albrecht (nee Kruegel), whom he married August 27, 1966, loving father of Beth (Brian) Frost of Montgomery, IL and Sharon (Joe) Rymsza of Tinley Park, IL, adored Opa of Emily and Nathan Frost; Sydney, Abby, William, Stefanie and Joe Rymsza, devoted son of the late Harold and Julia Ellen (nee Schlem) Albrecht, dear brother of Lee Crooke of Nampa, ID, and friend of many.
Bill grew up in Decatur, IL, and graduated from MacArthur High School. He attended the University of Alaska at Fairbanks, and went on to graduate with a degree in Biology from North Central College in Naperville. He was employed for many years by Nalco Chemical Company in Chicago and Naperville.
Bill was an active member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Woodridge where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He also volunteered for almost twenty years at The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL. He especially enjoyed wintering with his wife, Barbara, in their home in Venice, FL.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021, 1:00-3:00 PM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2600 75th St., Woodridge, IL 60517, (630) 969-1268.
A private celebration of life service will follow at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Interment will be private.
