I noted her name in the NDN obituaries. I was president of the Friends of Art in 2002 and a number of our board members participated in the artists' selection committee...Patty was chosen as one of the fabulous featured artists on that year's tour. I reached out to those of us who are still in Naples and am sending this on our behalf as a message of remembrance to her family. She was a very special lady, and a wonderful artist.
Leslie Branda, former President of the Friends of Art and members of the 2002 Artists' Studio Tour selection committee. Her obituary photograph was just beautiful, like her spirit.

The thought of Patsy will always makes me smile! I was 13 years old when I first came to Naples to see my oldest sister Lea & meet her best friend/housemate Patsy. They had just moved back from living & traveling around Europe for several years. The three of us took off on a two week road trip through central FL & down to The Keys in Patsy's Volkswagen van, "camping" in the van & staying with various friends along the way. Gypsy days! They shared 40 years of friendship, always filled with fun & laughter when they were together. Lea's mind may not be aware her "sister" has left this world but I'm sure she knows it in her heart & soul as they always had such a strong spiritual connection. If Lea could speak, I know she would say "Soar high & free Patsy, I'll see you in my dreams! " Sending Lea's love and hugs to you both Casey & Cheyenne and I pray your hearts are at peace.
