Donna M. Cioffi

Donna M. Cioffi, 76, of North Cascade Street died the morning of Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in Jameson Hospital.Born Nov. 13, 1931, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Domer and Mae Baker Sankey.She was married to Joseph Cioffi Sr. He died Dec. 20, 1988.Mrs. Cioffi was a homemaker, and enjoyed bingo and taking trips to Las Vegas.She also loved spending time with her grandchildren, Gary Jr. and Cassandra, who lived with her.Survivors include a son, Gary Murphy Sr. of New Castle; two stepsons, Joseph Cioffi Jr. of New Castle and Jeff Frank of California; one stepdaughter, JoAnn Mackeprang of New Castle; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jodi Cioffi; two brothers, John Sankey and Elmer Sankey; and a sister, Ann Cook.Visitation is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave.A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home’s William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Kenneth Meyer of First Assembly of God will officiate.
