Hartsel Gibson Obituary
Hoot passed away peacefully, September 16, 2009, at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born June 30, 1923, in Bluefield, West Virginia, to the late Harry and Tressie (Lane) Clemings.
Hoot, a heavy equipment operator, enjoyed hunting, trapping and being outdoors.
He is survived by two sons, Bill (Babbie) Gibson, Bob (Patti) Gibson, all of Newark; sisters, Hilda (Fred) Sheets of Newark, Sue (Harold) Miller of Erie, Pennsylvania; brother, John (Vonnie) Clemings of Newark; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna Gibson; sisters, Helen Vogue and Emma Jean Wolfe; brother, Harry Clemings. Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
