Margaret Tate Obituary
Morrow - Peggy was born May 22, 1950 in Newark, Ohio to Bernard and Evelyn Oberfield. She passed away of natural causes at the age of 68 at her home In Morrow Ohio on Monday, July 16, 2018.
Peggy graduated Newark Catholic High School in 1968 and The Columbus College of Art and Design in 1972. She was a talented artist. Early in her career she was employed at Shillito's of Cincinnati in their fashion advertising department. She also was a freelance artist, creating many beautiful pieces including wall murals at local businesses and homes, and glass work at Good Shephard Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Andrew J Tate of Morrow Ohio; son and daughter in law, Drew and Lyndsay Tate; grandchildren Addison and Macklin all of Avon Lake Ohio. Two sisters and brothers in law, Lorrie & Jay Lohri, Gini & Larry Wiseman, and one brother and sister in law, Chuck & Jane Oberfield; many nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Anne Tate in 2007.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date at St Francis de Sales Church. 66 Granville St. Newark Ohio.
Tufts-Schildmeyer Funeral Home of Loveland Ohio handled the arrangements.

Peggy was a close friend to my husband Joe & I and we were delighted to reconnect with her in the last few years via Facebook. We were students together at The Collumbus College of Art & Design and she was a bridesmaid in our wedding in the early 70's. When we reached out to her recently and did not get a reply, we started talking to friends & searching. This is the sadness we discovered. Goodbye dear Peggy. May you rest in peace. We'll meet again in Heaven.

I graduated with Peggy in 1968 from Newark Catholic High School. I knew Peggy was special and I knew she was a special woman. To the Oberfields, I am so sorry for your loss.

Peggy's High School class just celebrated their 50th reunion. She was mentioned often and remembered by many as an amazing person. Even years ago many saw there was something so special about her. I know she will by missed by many and held dearly in many hearts. My sincere condolences to family and friends.
