Corbett Holland Obituary
The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel at Vanceboro. Burial will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Holland was a native of Lenoir County, but lived in the Vanceboro community his entire life. He was a farmer and for about 25 years owned and operated C. L. Holland Logging Company. Mr. Holland was a member of the Vanceboro Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Holland.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Heath Holland; a son, Cliff Holland and wife, Ginger, of Vanceboro; a daughter, Casey Toler and husband, Scott, of Vanceboro; a brother, Jasper Dale Holland and wife, Grace, of Newport News, Va.; a sister, Elizabeth Cooke of Vanceboro; four grandchildren, Courtney Holland, Curtis Holland, Jessica Toler and Jordan Toler.

The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Vanceboro Monday from 6-8 p.m. and other times at the home of Cliff and Ginger Holland, 2001 Old Brick Road, Vanceboro.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Corbett passing away. Your family has always meant so much to me. I always loved working with you guys in tobacco and y'all gave us a chance when no one else would. You set our work ethics by trusting us to be good workers. I had many laughs with you guys around your supper table and I was bragging just the other day about how good Lynne's spaghetti was. I pray that God will comfort y'all and I want to tell you I love you and thanks for being such good friends and employers.
