Michael Rivenbark Obituary
New Bern - Michael "Brayden" Rivenbark, 14, went to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 11am at West Vanceboro Church of God. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Michael was born July 22, 2006 in Craven County to Michael Rivenbark and Christy Turbeville. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and riding four wheelers and was active in the Westside Student Ministry at West Vanceboro Church of God. He was well-mannered and always had a smile on his face. He loved his mama, and he will be truly missed.
Michael is survived by his mother, Christy Turbeville and her friend Mark Coulter, who was like a father to him; father, Michael Rivenbark; brother, Easton Coulter; maternal grandfather, Ray Turbeville and friend Donna; maternal grandmother, Denise Recchiuti; paternal grandfather, Jeff Rivenbark and wife Carrie; paternal grandmother, Janet Collins; and maternal great-grandmother, Joan "Mammie" Turbeville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. You can mail a donation to 605 Country Club Dr, Greenville, NC 27834 or give online through Michael's memorial page at www.smithfcs.com.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Micheal and I were really in the 7th grade...we would goof off in class with the teachers..we always seemed to have each other's back no matter what...and we always seemed to be in the same friend group...I will miss you dearly...FLY HIGH AND BE BRAVE...YOU GOT THIS...love allways Shiann Lawson..
