I'm so very sad to hear of Dicks passing. He was a valuable and well liked member of the USS Cod Submarine Memorial crew in the 1980-1990s. It was an honor to be his shipmate.

Dick we all will miss you, I guess God needed another great Police Officer at his side. You were my friend and a real credit to Law Enforcement. I will never forget the good times we had as well as some of the very sad times you and I lived thru. You always were there for the fine officers we worked with and helped me when I needed it. There is so much to remember the times, driving to the station together, New Years Eve parties, flying, fighting to make East Cleveland a better place and never giving up your values. You set a wonderful example for your loving Family. Go with God my friend.

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Lt Perry. Lt Perry was our Admistrative Lt during my years of service with the East Cleveland Police Dept. I will always remember Lt Perry for his mild mannered demeanor and his great dry sense of humor. We met many times in later years and Lt Perry was always the same mild mannered guy.
