Marshfield - Donald (Don) William Fraker, son of Fred and Irene (Thomas) Fraker was born February 16, 1930 in Springfield, Missouri and passed away at his home in Marshfield surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the age of 88.

Don was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and enjoyed a career in banking and keeping up the family farm. He was a faithful member of the Marshfield United Methodist Church.

Don is survived by three sons, Mike (Julie) Fraker of Rogersville, Lyndall (Melanie) Fraker of Marshfield and Barth Fraker of Marshfield; three granddaughters, Annie Smith of Fordland, Callie (Jeff) Mitchell of Nixa, Kasey (Axel) Thiele of Springfield; two grandsons, Landon and Logan Fraker of Marshfield; six great-grandchildren, Grant and Sara Smith of Fordland, Dylan and Avid Mitchell of Nixa, Emmett and Huxley Thiele of Springfield; in-laws, June Criger, Phoebe Cleir, Donald and Leona Rost, and EL and Delores Rost all of Marshfield.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 59 years, Lois. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Sheriff Eugene Fraker.

The family wishes to thank the many caregivers, the Marshfield United Methodist Church Choir and the many friends that have done various tasks for Don and the family over the past several years. In lieu of flowers, the family has established the Don and Lois Fraker scholarship fund through the Marshfield Public Schools Foundation. Contributions may be left in care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, MO 65706.

Funeral services for Don Fraker will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 in the Marshfield United Methodist Church, Marshfield, MO, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow in Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be before the funeral services from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Marshfield United Methodist Church.
