Obituary

Daniel A. Raffaniello, 75, of Cape Coral, died June 3, 2002, at Hope Hospice Cape Coral. He was born November 13, 1926, in Brooklyn, New York son of Richard and Cecelia (Incarnato) Raffaniello. He worked for Grumen & Republic Aviation in Long Island after completing his Naval service. He also worked for AT&T in New York. He retired as a Bio-Medical Engineer for Lee Memorial Hospital, Fort Myers. He came to Cape Coral from New York 27 years ago.

Mr. Raffaniello is a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II in the Pacific, a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church Cape Coral and a member of the cape Coral Eagles Lodge.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years Patricia (Lynch) of Cape Coral, whom he married in 1978; children: Donna Kinnear and husband Bill of Cape Coral, Dana Raffaniello of Fairbanks, Alaska, Dara Humsi and J. Russe of Cape Coral, Robert Yachovitz of Myrtle Beach, SC, Darin Raffaniello of Yuba City, CA, Brian Yachovitz and wife Sherry of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother Edward Raffaniello of Miami; sisters: Lena Sampson of Long Island, Grace Ricetti of Brooklyn, NY; grandchildren, Christina, Jessica, Justin, Emily, Daniel, Jaelynn and Andrew.

Memorial Mass will be conducted Thursday, June 6, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Cape Coral.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hope Hospice of Cape Coral.

All arrangements entrusted to Fuller Funeral Home of Cape Coral, formerly Kath-McFarland-Schmidt Funeral Home.
