Obituary

Raymond E. Kruse, 86, of Fort Myers passed away August 8, 2001 at S.W. Florida Regional Hospital. He was born July 15, 1915 in Elida, Ohio to Karl and Grace Kruse. He and his loving wife of 62 years, Lola Corine Kruse, resided in Lima, Ohio before moving to Fort Myers with her four children in 1957. Ray, a dedicated family man, enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and member of the Lehigh Bass Club.

He will be sorely missed by his wife, Corine, son Robert Lee Kruse and wife Vicki; daughters, Nicola Kruse Guthrie, Anita Jo Dorch and husband Eugene and Jacqueline Kruse Crandall who all loved him dearly. All reside in Fort Myers. He is also survived by one sister, Helen June Collins (George) of Nampa, Idaho and five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at Lee Memorial Park at 12777 S.R. 82, Fort Myers on Friday, August 10 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to services.
